What is the minimum order value?

The minimum order value for business orders on zakelijk.florafy.eu is €200 excluding VAT. Above this amount, shipping within the Netherlands is free. For Belgium, Germany and France the shipping cost is shown at checkout. Orders below €200 cannot be placed through the business portal — for smaller orders we refer you to our consumer site florafy.eu.

Question 2

How do I register a business account?

Accepted Answer

Go to the registration page and enter your company details: Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number and business address. The VAT number is automatically validated through VIES (the official EU database). Once validation succeeds your account is active immediately and the 10% business discount is applied to all prices. EU companies outside the Netherlands also receive automatic VAT reverse charge.

Are prices excluding VAT?

Yes, all prices on zakelijk.florafy.eu are displayed excluding VAT. VAT is calculated and shown separately at checkout. Dutch businesses pay 21% VAT, deductible through their regular VAT return. EU companies with a valid VAT number qualify for VAT reverse charge — no VAT is invoiced. On product pages a toggle can show the VAT-inclusive price if preferred.

Can I pay by invoice?

Yes, invoice payment is available for business customers on request. Contact info@florafy.eu to discuss the conditions. We also accept iDEAL, credit card, bank transfer and Klarna by default. For project orders or established customers, payment on account with a standard term (e.g. 14 or 30 days) is common practice.

Yes, on top of the standard 10% business discount we offer volume discounts on quantities of 10 units or more per product. For project orders, complete office fit-outs or full hospitality locations we are happy to provide a tailored quote. What are the shipping costs?

For orders from €200 excl. VAT (the minimum order value), shipping within the Netherlands is free. Shipping to Belgium, Germany and France varies by country and weight; the cost is shown transparently at checkout. Larger shipments are sent on pallets with a tail-lift truck so XL artificial trees are delivered safely and upright.

When will my order be delivered?

We aim to deliver within 1-5 business days from our warehouse in Naaldwijk. Orders placed before 12:00 on weekdays are dispatched the same day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday are shipped on Tuesday. For project orders with specific deadlines we plan delivery in consultation, also outside the standard 5-day window.

Yes, collection is possible at our showroom and warehouse at De Bruidsbogerd 3 in Naaldwijk. Contact info@florafy.eu or call +31 6 1530 0202 in advance to have your order ready. We are open on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:30. The location is wheelchair accessible and suitable for vans and small trucks; free parking at the entrance.

How are large orders shipped?

Accepted Answer

Large orders — for example office fit-outs, complete hospitality locations or XL artificial trees — are shipped on pallets with a tail-lift truck. We ensure safe transport up to your door at ground level. Larger plants and trees are transported upright by our logistics partners. For delivery above ground level (upper floor without a lift) we arrange a separate appointment.

Do you also deliver to Belgium and Germany?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we ship throughout Europe. Our primary markets are the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France; the website is available in these four languages. Shipping costs vary by country, weight and parcel size and are shown transparently at checkout. EU companies with a valid VAT number automatically receive a VAT reverse charge invoice, so no Dutch VAT is charged.

How realistic do the artificial plants look?

Our artificial plants are premium quality with authentic colours, textures, leaf structures and shapes. They are barely distinguishable from real plants. Every plant is personally tested in our 200 m² showroom in Naaldwijk before being added to the range — anything that looks like cheap plastic, we don't sell. Visit the showroom to see, feel and compare 500+ plants in person.

Are the artificial plants suitable for outdoor use?

Most artificial plants in our range are designed for indoor use. We also offer a dedicated outdoor collection made from UV-resistant material that withstands sun, rain and temperature changes. This outdoor range is clearly marked in the web shop. For terraces, hotel lobbies with abundant daylight or partly covered outdoor areas we specifically recommend the UV-resistant variants.

How much maintenance is required?

Almost none. No water, sunlight or feeding required — Florafy artificial plants stay good-looking for years without care. Dust them with a soft cloth or feather duster about once a month. For stubborn dirt a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent works well. Lifespan under normal use is 5-10 years; we provide a 2-year warranty.

Absolutely. Artificial plants are timeless and versatile: their clean design and neutral tones suit minimalist, Scandinavian, industrial and classic interior styles. For offices, hotel lobbies and hospitality settings, large statement pieces (Strelitzia, Olive, Ficus) and corner fillers work particularly well. Visit the showroom or request on-site advice — our stylists provide free, personal recommendations without obligation.

Can I order plants with a decorative pot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, for many products you can directly select a matching decorative pot and optionally add a potting service. We pot the plant ready for use with professional substrate and deliver it upright — instantly presentable without you having to pot it yourself. The extensive pot range goes from sleek white cylinders to natural rattan and matte black steel.

Can I return products?

Accepted Answer

Yes, returns are possible within 14 days of delivery, provided the products are unused and in original condition. First contact info@florafy.eu with your order number for return instructions. Pack the product carefully in its original packaging or a sturdy box and send it to Florafy, De Bruidsbogerd 3, 2671 DK Naaldwijk. Refunds are processed within 1-5 business days after receipt.

Question 18

What warranty do you offer?

Accepted Answer

We provide a 2-year warranty on all our artificial plants under normal use. The warranty covers manufacturing defects, material faults and unexplained discolouration within that period. Send photos and your order number to info@florafy.eu and we will arrange replacement, repair or refund. The average lifespan of our artificial plants under normal use is 5 to 10 years.

What if I receive a damaged product?

Contact info@florafy.eu within 4 business days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage — preferably also photos of the outer packaging. We will arrange a suitable solution immediately: replacement, repair or credit. Keep the original packaging until the issue is resolved. For transport damage we need the photos to settle the case with our logistics partner.

Can I view the plants in person?

Accepted Answer

Yes, visit our 200 m² showroom in Naaldwijk with more than 500 artificial plants — from small desk plants to XL artificial trees up to 3 metres. The full range is physically present to view, feel and compare. We recommend booking an appointment so our stylists can advise you personally. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Saturday by appointment.
