The leaves are made of polyester with a molded midrib and a matte finish, mounted on bendable stems. The base consists of short stems with visible nodes and a brown outer layer, with a reddish-brown leaf sheath at the attachment point. The plant sits in a terracotta-colored 17 cm grow pot and can be placed directly into a decorative pot.
Fully unfolded, the plant measures approximately 80 to 100 cm from leaf tip to leaf tip, wider than you might expect for a 100 cm height. For a narrow spot, push the stems on the wall side upward, keeping the depth around 55 cm. For an open spot, fan out all the leaves evenly.
The stems are bendable. Start with the bottom leaves and pull them outward, then work layer by layer upward, finishing with the small leaves in the center. Turn each leaf slightly so the top faces the viewing direction. If a leaf sits crooked, bend the stem at the base, not halfway up.
Wipe the top of the leaves once a month with a soft, slightly damp cloth while supporting the leaf with your other hand. Most dust collects along the holes and cuts, so run the tip of the cloth through those areas. Dry afterward to keep the matte finish even. Spraying or trimming is never needed.
