The trunk is made of plastic with a molded bark structure and a fibrous, reddish-brown finish, so it doesn't look like a smooth pole. The leaves are made of polyester with embossed veins and a flexible core in the leaf stalk. The tree stands in a black grow pot of 20 cm and can be placed directly into a decorative pot.
The tree is about 180 cm tall measured from the bottom of the grow pot, with the crown starting around 100 cm. Unfolded, the crown is about 90 to 110 cm wide. In a decorative pot, another 10 to 20 cm of height is added, depending on how far the pot rises above the grow pot. So measure under a sloped wall or low ceiling edge first.
The grow pot is weighted, but at 180 cm a heavy decorative pot helps enormously. Choose a pot of at least 35 cm in diameter and fill the space around the grow pot with filler material, then the trunk stands upright and the tree can't tip over if someone walks past. With a tall, narrow pot, fill the bottom heavily first.

Because the crown sits high up, dusting is easiest with a long-handled duster or with a hairdryer on the cold setting. If needed, pull the tree slightly forward, work from the trunk toward the leaf tips, and pay extra attention to the top of the leaves where dust settles. Two to three times a year is enough.
It can stand under a veranda, in a conservatory or in a covered entrance as long as it stays dry. Rain and days of direct sunlight will eventually discolor the polyester and dull the trunk. This artificial palm tree isn't made for fully outdoor use. Indoors, it keeps its color for years just like in the photo.

Give this artificial tree a heavy decorative pot of at least 35 cm in diameter in terracotta, concrete look or matte cream: it makes the trunk optically thicker and keeps the whole thing stable. Place it next to a light wall and aim a floor spotlight upward at an angle, so the crown casts a shadow on the ceiling in the evening. Next to rattan, linen and whitewashed wood the look becomes Mediterranean; next to dark tiles it turns tropical instead.
