The crown measures approximately 30 cm in diameter and starts at about 22 cm in height, measured from the bottom of the grow pot. Altogether that's 43 cm. If the ball is somewhat flat on one side after unpacking, pull the side branches outward by hand until it's round again; that takes about two minutes.

Yes, and the pruned silhouette actually shows well there. Draughts, cold at the front door, and fluctuating temperatures do nothing to plastic and polyester. Just don't place it on a walking route where coats or bags brush against the crown, as that will eventually distort the ball shape.
Use a feather duster and work from top to bottom around the ball; a cloth tends to catch in the dense leaves. If dust sits deeper in the crown, blow it out with a hairdryer on the cold setting from about half a metre away. Wipe the oranges separately with a slightly damp cloth.
