The trunks are made of natural wood, with natural bark that varies slightly per piece. The leaves and pink-purple bracts are made of polyester with fine vein detailing, mimicking the papery blossom of a bougainvillea. The colour is colourfast and won't fade indoors. The trunk stands on a small black wooden base, so the plant is stable on furniture even without a decorative pot.

The total height is approximately 65 cm, measured from the bottom to the top of the crown. Because the branches are shaped by hand, the height may vary by a few centimetres. If you place the plant in a tall decorative pot, the height of the pot is added on top of that.

Yes. The branches contain wire, so after unpacking you can shake the crown loose and spread the branches as desired. Gently pull the branches outward and downward for a fuller, wider crown, or keep them closer to the trunk for a slimmer shape. It's best to do this properly once, so the wire doesn't bend unnecessarily often.

An artificial plant needs no water or light, just an occasional dusting. Use a feather duster or a soft, slightly damp cloth and go gently over the leaves and blossoms. For tricky spots between the branches, a hairdryer on the cold setting works well. That's it: the colours stay just like in the photo for years.

The nursery pot size is 13 cm. Under the price you'll see exactly which decorative pots fit this plant, and when ordering you can immediately choose a matching pot and filling material. A decorative pot with a slightly larger opening gives the trunks room and makes the plant stand more firmly.

The plant is made for indoor use. It can do fine on a covered terrace, in a conservatory, or on a veranda, as long as it stays dry and isn't in full sun all day. Left permanently outside, in rain and direct sunlight, the polyester will eventually discolour. Indoors, the colour stays beautiful for years.
