No, the Ayka is a decorative pot without a drainage hole and without a drip tray. For an artificial plant this is actually convenient: no water is involved, so you don't need to worry about anything. You can place the artificial plant, grow pot and all, into the Ayka, or fill the space around it with filler material and moss for a neat finish.
The Ayka comes in four sizes: D24 x H21 cm, D28 x H25 cm, D33 x H28 cm and D39 x H32 cm. The first measurement is the outer diameter at the widest point, the second is the height. The opening at the top is narrower than the outer diameter and ranges from 21 cm on the smallest size to 35 cm on the largest.
The Ayka is intended for indoor use. Metal with a lacquer finish can stain or discolour outdoors due to rain and frost. It can be placed fine in a covered and dry spot, such as a veranda or conservatory. For a garden or balcony without a roof, we recommend a pot that is specifically made for that.
Dust the Ayka with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use a scouring pad or aggressive cleaning agent, as these will damage the matte lacquer. Beyond that, the pot needs nothing. With an artificial plant in it, the combination stays the same for years: no rings, no residue, no hassle.
